DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
It is our vision to build a growing, evangelistic community in which lives are being transformed and equipped to impact the world as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. In pursuing this vision, we seek to equip every person in the congregation so that they:
- Have a basic knowledge of God’s big story as presented in the Bible
- Have a clear knowledge and understanding of their Spiritual Gifts
- Are connected to a small group ministry
- Have a clear understanding of their baptismal vocation as it relates to their daily life. (“How do I live out my faith in daily life through my work, at home, etc.)
- Have a “ministry” in and/or through the congregation. (i.e. teaching, assisting minister, core ministry team member, etc.)
- Regularly practice the disciplines of CrossTraining.
Our expectation is that each adult will continue to grow in knowledge, service and maturity of faith. To help this growth, we have put together a Discipleship Process which will serve as a tool for becoming a faithful participant in God’s mission in the world.
All courses are open to everyone. Unless specifically noted, there is no fee for these courses. Some will have recommended curriculum that can be purchased at our costs.
