During the Gracebook series, we’re going to discover the basic plotline of the Biblical story. But more importantly, we’re going to have the opportunity to connect with the story in ways that impact our relationship with God in the here and now. One of the ways that we will seek to do this is through something that we’re calling Social Networks.
What is a Social Network?
Social Networks are groups of 6 to 8 people who gather at Holy Cross for conversation and reflection based on Sunday’s Gracebook story and sermon. These Networks are designed to help you share your story and how it connects with God’s in a friendly, safe environment.
When do Social Networks meet?
Social Networks meet after worship on Wednesday nights from 7:00 – 8:00pm.
How do I join a Social Network?
If you missed the mixer, no problem! Come to the large group Social Network gathering on Wednesday evening at 7:00 in the lower level and we’ll get you connected.
Is there childcare provided?
Yes. The nursery is available for children 3 and under. There are also activities for children and youth.
What do Social Networks study?
The goal of the Gracebook series is to connect you to the biblical story in such a way that it shapes your life. The Social Networks engage you, your story & where they connect with the previous Sunday’s biblical text and sermon. There will be questions to guide the conversation and tools to help you go deeper. If you attend worship or listen to the sermon online, you’ll be prepared for the discussion.
