Confirmation
The Confirmation Ministry at Holy Cross is a period of intentional spiritual formation during grades 7 & 8 that assists young people in developing faith as a way of life. Through large group learning and small group reflection, students discover their role in God’s big mission to bless the mess in which we live.
Confirmation learning takes place on Wednesday nights throughout the school year. Students meet at 6:15 prior to community worship, then following worship together, continue their learning in large and small groups, concluding at 8:00pm. The confirmation program also includes an overnight retreat in August, an opportunity for community building and in-depth learning in a fun, outdoor setting.
In October of their 9th grade year, the students affirm their baptismal call in the Rite of Confirmation.

Sunday Mornings
Sunday mornings during the school year feature group discussion time for middle school, meeting at 9:15am in the west wing. Instead of a traditional Bible lesson, our classes are focused around discussions on current events and how these events affect our faith journeys. In addition to good discussion, drinks and snacks are always present as well.
